A few days ago, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) announced the names of the 30 young entrepreneurs who will represent Canada during the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit (G20 YES) in Nice, France.

G20 YES is an annual gathering of some of the most influential entrepreneurs of the G20 countries. From October 31 until November 2, delegates will discuss public policy and the issues faced by young entrepreneurs around the world. Then, on November 3, the G20 leaders will receive their resulting recommendations in Cannes.

A business can only thrive if its leader(s) and employees are committed and dedicated to making it work. Getting traffic is important. However, what is even more important is to understand that credibility is only awarded to the individuals who are genuinely interested in and interesting to others.

• Interaction is key

Twitter is a fantastic promotional tool. Unfortunately, a lot of users do not know how to use it properly. And at least 20 percent of accounts are completely idle.

“We have this huge translation project for you. 40k words. Deadline: one week. What is your best rate?”

“This is considered a rush job. My rate is usually higher in this case. It is also determined by the technicality of the document. I need to see a sample.”

What do all successful companies and solopreneurs have in common? They have branded themselves well.

Branding is what helps you make people aware of your existence, as well as the existence of your products and/or services. And yet, many entrepreneurs,  especially independent artists, still do not understand the concept.
