Documentary review: ‘Conversations for Change’
I met Nejeed Kassam during the launch of his book, “High on Life: Stories of Hope, Change, and Leadership,” in Winnipeg last year. Since then, I have followed his humanitarian work with interest. So, when he asked me to review the new documentary that he had produced with Alesha Porisky, I knew I was in for a treat.
We have all felt overwhelmed by the problems in this world. We have all been faced with the question: “What can I do as an individual to really change the status quo?” This is a daunting question to which there seems to be no easy answer. Unless, you take the time to watch “Conversation for Change.”
