Interview with Stuart Lawson, founder of FollowMeSticker.com

Headquartered in Tustin, California, FollowMeSticker.com is a new start-up. The company offers a line of stickers that help promote social media profiles offline. Today, I am pleased to feature its creator, Stuart Lawson.

Cendrine Marrouat: Hello Stuart, thank you for answering my questions. As a starter, tell us a little about you.

Stuart Lawson: Hi Cendrine, thanks for the interview. I am currently 27 and I’m a Designer and Entrepreneur. I consider myself a bit of an Idealist and Futurist. I grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, and when I was 14 my family moved here to the USA. I’ve been involved in Design from an early age, but since 2003 caught the entrepreneur bug and got a real feel for business (and how difficult it is). I’ve since been involved in many different companies and start-ups. In Spring 2011, I decided to create FollowMeSticker.com

Interview with entrepreneur Jason Hill, CEO of Music Money Mixtapes - part 2

Cendrine Marrouat: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Google+? And why?

Jason Hill: My first love is Twitter, it’s a different breed of people.  Facebook, I hate but I have occasionally been asked to set up fan pages and that sort of thing, so we co-exist. But marketing on facebook is a whole other beast.

Interview with entrepreneur Erin Blaskie - part 2

Cendrine Marrouat: You are currently working on your first book. What is the topic? And when will it be released?

Erin Blaskie: The book that I am writing is on the psychology of the entrepreneur and why some entrepreneurs never become successful and how they can change that. One of the things we see a lot in working with entrepreneurs is the need to jump from one thing to another and it usually becomes a problem. Lack of focus is the #1 business killer so we are exploring why, from the psychological perspective, entrepreneurs are prone to this.  We are working on a release date now.

AlmostFamous: Bridging the gap between artists and audiences

Emerging artists can now show off their content and get discovered more easily thanks to a new platform that combines interactivity with user-friendliness.

Since the demise and recent sale of MySpace for $35 million, independent artists have found themselves forced to rely more and more on YouTube and Facebook. While they certainly are powerful promotional tools, these two platforms are saturated with new content on a daily basis, which makes it increasingly challenging for artists to be seen and heard.

The Facebook Friend: Real or not? | Creative Ramblings - A Blog by Cendrine Marrouat

The following is a guest post by Joseph Baker. His bio is at the end of the article.

Like millions of other people, I have a Facebook page.  I fought against the trend for years before I finally accepted an invitation to join, and we have been inseparable since.  I recently bought my first smart phone, and the Facebook app was one of the first things I installed.  This site offers me the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and learn more about new ones, and has added a source of entertainment to my dull life.

It's always about customer service | Creative Ramblings - A Blog by Cendrine Marrouat

“The way to gain a good reputation, is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.” – Socrates

“Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.” – Walt Disney

Whether you want it or not, it is always about customer service. It does not matter if you are a big company, a solopreneur or an employee. You owe your clients (meaning those who pay you in exchange for your services or products) the right to expect the best and most professional attitude from you at all times.
