What can we learn from inhumanity?

A few days ago, a two-year old Chinese toddler was run over by two vehicles and spent seven minutes in pain on the ground, while 18 people walked by without helping. She died in hospital.

The video below is horrible, heart-wrenching, and blatantly inhuman.

However, before you dare judge the people in this video or even the culture of the country, ask yourself these questions: How many people in need have you passed by in your life without even looking? How many have you refused to help because you deemed them unworthy of your attention and time? There is a lesson to be learnt here.

I am looking back in anger at my own selfishness. I will never be the same.

Walking down memory lane... Genesis' "Ripples"

My love story with British band Genesis started when I was 12. In more than two decades, I have stockpiled over 40 GB of their music: all their official albums, tribute albums, videos and bootlegs.

In 2007, I was able to see the band in Toronto for the first -- and last time. For three and a half hours, 50,000 devoted fans from around the world were able to walk down memory lane together. It was pure magic!

Genesis do not exist anymore, but their music will never die.

Here is my favorite song. "Ripples" never ceases to amaze me!
